Fischer Red Angus entertained Brian Angus / Woodview Farms of Arlington, SOUTH AFRICA for an
afternoon. Brian was visiting Montana ranches, while his wife visited her family in
Wisconsin. His farm is approximatley the same elevation as Harlowton and he has
about 200 head of Red Angus and 100 head of Black Angus. Labor is
very inexpensive in South Africa, as is the cost of living. It was an interesting
adventure to compare the similarities and differences in raising cattle, comparing pasture land and our life styles.
Brian said he would be in the states visiting in 2 years and promised to come back once again.
